Inspired by the idea of a token, something small that represents something much greater, each pendant is handmade from recycled silver and set with a natural gemstone.

The pendant is finished with a smooth satin texture and hangs from a sterling silver chain.

Designed as little personal talismans and keepsakes, a token might represent luck, love, a place, a person, a memory, or simply a reminder to yourself.

Each one is made individually, allowing the silver and natural stone to retain their own little imperfections and character. No two are quite the same, a small object to carry something meaningful with you.

The meaning behind the stones

Each gemstone carries its own symbolism, giving every Token a meaning of its own. These traditional associations are simply an invitation to choose the stone that speaks to you.

Aquamarine — A token of calm
Traditionally associated with calm, clarity and the sea, aquamarine is often seen as a stone of peacefulness and clear communication.

Green Kyanite — A token of renewal
Traditionally associated with balance, growth and new beginnings, green kyanite’s vivid colour makes it a joyful symbol of renewal, possibility and fresh starts.

Pink Tourmaline — A token of love
Traditionally associated with love, tenderness and compassion, pink tourmaline is a beautiful symbol of affection and emotional connection.

Brown Tourmaline — A token of grounding
With its warm, earthy tones, brown tourmaline is traditionally associated with grounding, stability and a connection to the natural world.

Tanzanite — A token of transformation
Rare and found only in Tanzania, tanzanite is traditionally associated with transformation, intuition and new beginnings. Its shifting blue-violet colour makes it feel especially fitting for a token of change.

Each necklace is adjustable and can be worn at 16", 18" or 20".

These pebble pendants were inspired by a hag stone I found on a beach in North Norfolk, not too far from my studio. I wanted to create a pendant that captured the beauty of this naturally formed stone, with its hole created over time by water erosion.

In folklore, hag stones were thought to offer protection. Hanging one around your neck, by a front door or above a bed was believed to keep evil spirits away, prevent nightmares, protect against curses and bring good luck.

It was also believed that looking through the hole of a hag stone could allow you to see into an invisible world of fairies, spirits and other hidden magical beings.

Every pendant is my own interpretation of this folklore, inspired by the idea of carrying a little piece of protection and magic with you.

Finished with a sterling silver oval trace chain, adjustable from 16–18” (40–45cm). The bail is large enough to allow the pendant to be easily removed and worn on a different chain if you prefer.

Measuring approximately 1.2cm wide and 0.3cm thick, with an additional 0.2cm for each accent, each piece is handmade from 100% recycled silver.
